"Verdala International School has been using MySchool since 2008. Initially we decided to go with MySchool because it is a system that is user-friendly, for teachers, administration, parents and naturally for students. Our many comments from parents are that it allows them to keep up-to-date with their students work, their student’s teachers and school activities in general. MySchool has become an integral part of the common effort that Verdala uses in its approach to any student. We believe that it is communication between family and school that will best support success. Through the use of MySchool, K to Grade 12, all users have a sense of consistency and commonality. Parents can see a unified approach from the school. Teachers and administrators have reached a standard whereby the public face of the school is seen to be professional and expert. We have just over 80% international students at Verdala. Many of our parents travel throughout the year. Through the use of MySchool these parents can keep in touch with their child’s progress no matter where they are. The system allows for announcements to be made globally and also to individuals, the result is a streamlined and efficient communication between the school and home. One aspect that I feel is of critical importance in deciding to become involved with any system is the service aspect. Many companies have an excellent sales department and a mediocre service section. This is not the case with MySchool. Over the years as Verdala used MyScool Mr. Peyre was an invaluable asset. He is prepared to listen to and take on board suggestions to improve the delivery of the product.
